Papuk u svom podnožju oblikuje izlomljen i naboran krajolik pun uvala i udolina. Ideja da se jedna od tih udolina pregradi branom i napuni planinskom vodom zaživjela je šezdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća. Pred očima Orahovice, tu ispod  Ružice grada, te kamene čitanke prošlosti, ruševine golemog drevnog grada, udomilo se orahovačko umjetno jezero.

Orahovačko jezero tako je godinama primalo svoje goste. Svakog ranog proljeća čišćeno je dno jezera, a pred sezonu kupanja temeljito je uređivana njegova obala. To su  uglavnom bile sve radnje oko njegova održavanja. Površinske vode, posebice za vrijeme ljetnih pljuskova, izravno su se slijevale u jezero onečišćavajući ga erozivnim površinskim materijalom.
Sustav odvodnje godinama nije održavan. Svojom nepredvidivom snagom voda je učinila svoje. Postupno si je napravila put, nasip je popustio, brana puknula i voda iz jezera istekla je u nepovrat.

Ta je havarija 2005. godine bila prekretnica za sudbinu orahovačkog jezera. I te kako se puno sredstava uložilo u njegovu obnovu. Ugrađen je novi suvremeni sustav odvodnje. S dna jezera izvađeno je oko 140 kubika mulja. Uređeno je dno jezera. Isto tako zamijenjeni su cjevovodi za dotok vode. Obala jezera utvrđena je zidom s kamenom oblogom u betonu. Na taj način površinske vode usmjerene su sustavom odvodnje pokraj jezera i više se ne slijevaju u njega.
Kupači i izletnici prepoznali su sve prednosti novouređenog prostora i pohrlili na orahovačko jezero. Prošle godine jezero je posjetilo oko 200.000 gostiju. Svaki od posjetitelja nađe svoj sadržaj

Ružica grad spada među najveće srednjovjekovne utvrđene gradove u predjelima sjeverne Hrvatske. Na 374. metra nadmorske visine, njene zidine šire se na prostoru od oko 8.000 m2.
Izgrađena u neko neodređeno vrijeme bez imena njezinog vrsnog tvorca i graditelja. Ma tko on bio, znalački je odabrao mjesto i način gradnje. Ostaje tajna kako je graditelj na vrh brda dovlačio velike kamene blokove, čime su ih klesali, kakvim su se sredstvima služili da sagrade tvrđavu koja će odoljeti  i neprijatelju i vremenu. Pretpostavlja se da je sigurno vrijeme postojanja prije 1220. godine, a potom, shodno vremenu i potrebama, tragove ostavlja njena dogradnja u službi pojedine povijesne epohe.

Ljepotu podpapučke planinske livade na nadmorskoj visini 475 m, okruženoj stoljetnim bukovim šumama i brojnim prirodnim ljepotama, bučnim izvorom Jankovačkog potoka koji se uljeva u tri prekrasna modro zelena jezera koja se u nastavku preko stijena obrušavaju poznatim vodopadom Skakavac te zajedno s potokom Kovačicom čine kanjon jedinstven u Slavoniji

Tijekom 18. st. na području Jankovca postojala je tvornica stakla u kojoj su radili njemački staklari, o čemu danas svjedoče ostaci nadgrobnih spomenika. Tvornica je bila poznata pod imenom „Staklana na Skakavcu“, a prestala je s radom kad su se iscrpile zalihe drva potrebne za dobivanje čađi.

Sredinom 19. stoljeća otkrio je austrijski grof Josip pl. Janković. Zaljubljenik u prirodne ljepote Papuka odlučio je ovdje i zauvijek ostati podužići još za života grobnicu s mramornim sarkofagom u prirodnoj špilji iza bogatog izvora. Na sredini livade podiže sebi lovački dvorac, na čijim temeljima početkom tridesetih godina 20. stoljeća osječki planinari grade svoj prvi planinarski dom. Dom je činila samo jedna kamena zgrada, a kako su prirodne ljepote Jankovca privlačile brojne Osječane i ostale ljubitelje prirode iz cijele Slavonije, Osječani dograđuju 1940. godine još jednu kamenu katnu zgradu. Dom je postao dvostruko veći, imao je pet soba i tri skupne spavaonice. Početkom 2. svjetskog rata partizani su dom pretvorili u bolnicu i Njemci su ga za Novu 1943. godinu zapalili. Poslije 2. Svjetskog rata osječki planinari našli su samo zgarište svoga doma i ubrzo s puno entuzijazma i dobrovoljnog rada obnavljaju svoje omiljeno izletište. Niknuo iz pepela rata, krajem 1951. godine, treći planinarski dom na Jankovcu prima svoje graditelje. Dom je tada imao deset soba i dva velika mansardna skupna ležišta, veliku blagavaonicu i stan za domara. Ukupno je bilo oko sto ležaja. Desetljeća u kojima je bio centar planinarsko-skijaškog sporta Slavonije, na staru godinu 1986. dom je potpuno izgorio. Već tijekom 1987. Godine dom se obnavlja zaslugom brojnih planinara i ljubitelja skijanja i za nepunih godinu dana izgrađen je još ljepši i veći, četvrti planinarski dom. Nažalost, taj je imao najkraći život. Okupacijom podpapučkih sela u Domovinskom ratu, za samo nekoliko mjeseci u jesen 1991. Godine dom je devastiran, opljačkan i uništen. Desetak godina propadanja bilo je potrebno da vapaje osječkih planinara prepoznaju u Upravi šuma Podružnice Našice, koji ugovorom o zakupu s planinarskim društvom „Bršljan Jankovac“ iz Osijeka, u samo godinu dana obnavljaju peti planinarski dom Jankovac. Tako je biser papučkog gorja Dom na Jankovcu zasjao punim sjajem.

Netaknuta priroda, svjež zrak, zvonki pjev ptica... Stvarno raj za odmor. Naravno da su slušali, sve se mi dogovorimo. Najveći problem im je samo bio nedostatak signala da osvježe svoje statuse na facebooku :D

Ah, današnja djeca... ::) Nego kako se setra ponašala? Udobnost i to...?

Setra, koja je inače najčešća na redovnoj liniji za Istru, pokazala se odlično...  Zbog broja putnika nam je trebalo veće vozilo od 49 sjedišta, pa je bilo ili S 416UL ili neki troosovinac, a zbog težeg prisupa Parku prirode Papuk - uska cesta, makadam, brojni zavoji, ova Setra sa 57 sjedišta je bila odličan izbor... Bit će evo kasnije i par slika sa drugog izleta u službi S 415GT-HD, samo da pripremim ;)

Kopački rit je poplavno područje nastalo djelovanjem dviju velikih rijeka, Dunava i Drave.
Zbog iznimne prirodne vrijednosti Kopački rit je 1993. godine uvršten na Popis Ramsarskih područja. Na toj listi su područja zaštićena Konvencijom o vlažnim područjima od međunarodnog značaja, osobito kao staništima ptica močvarica, koja je 1971. godine potpisana u iranskom gradu Ramsaru (tzv. Ramsarska konvencija).
Područjem Kopačkog rita počinje se upravljati nakon osnutka gospodarstva "Belje" darovnicom ugarsko-hrvatskog kralja Leopolda l. 1699. godine. Njime od tada upravlja Eugen Franjo Savojski do 1784. godine. Ono je poslije u zakupu obitelji Habsbrug sve do 1918. godine. Od 1920. godine ovo područje je proglašeno rezervatom kralja Aleksandra Karađorđevića, dok je u razdoblju 1941-1944. godine, za vrijeme kraljevine Mađarske, njime upravljao Mađarski narodni muzej koji osniva biološku stanicu "Albertina". Kopačkim ritom nakon II svjetskog rata, od 1959. godine upravlja lovno-šumsko gazdinstvo "Jelen", a od 1967. godine područje postaje Upravljani prirodni rezervat. Od 1997. godine područjem Parka prirode upravlja Javna ustanova "Park prirode Kopački rit".

Park prirode je veličine 21000 ha, od čega Specijalni zoološki rezervat obuhvaća 8,000 ha.
Kopački rit je jedna od najvećih fluvijalno-močvarnih nizina u Europi. Ovo područje tijekom godine značajno mijenja svoj izgled, ovisno o intenzitetu plavljenja, pretežno iz Dunava, te mnogo manje iz Drave.
Vožnja brodom omogućuje upoznavanje Posebnog ornitološkog rezervata. Na pristaništu "Veliki Sakadaš" na Sakadaškom jezeru čeka vbrod kojim započinje uzbudljiva avantura kroz Posebni zoološki rezervat.

Kompleks Dvoraca Tikveš čini prostor šuma i perivoja unutra kojeg su smješteni rezidencijalni objekti: Novi Dvorac s aneksom, Stari Dvorac, Kapelica te prateći objekti s restoranom. zgrađen je u duhu romantičarskog historicizma u drugoj polovici 19. stoljeća. Oko dvorca je perivoj i šetnica povezana sa lovačkom vilom ladanjske arhitekture. Kroz svoju bogatu prošlost dvorac u Tikvešu bio je lovačko središte u kojem su boravili pripadnici plemićke loze Teschenske loze obitelji Habsburg, kasnije članovi dinastije Karađorđević i mnoge druge. O tome svjedoče mnogobrojne fotografije Isabele von Habsburg, supruge Fridricha Habsburškog koji je do 1918. ovdje imao imanje.

Nakon II. svjetskog rata, dvorac je bio jedna od predsjedničkih rezidencija Josipa Broza Tita, a u njemu su odsjedali mnogi svjetski političari koji su dolazili u lov. Danas taj kompleks služi novoj namjeni kao Europski centar za okoliš.

Meni se nije dalo prošle godine da idem, jer je onaj golemi snijeg lupn'o xD

Drago mi je da i neki koji nisu posjetili ove destinacije barem mogu originalno uživati u fotkama svojih kolega....
Ja ću i dalje iste izvještavati sukladno svojim agentima, svojim snagama i bolestima.... I uživat ćete u novim pobjedama novih malih avanturista, kao što sam i ja.... a možca i nekoga potaknuti da posjeti Sarajevo, Travnik, Jajce, Veneciju, Osijek, Plitvička jezera ili nešto slično.... tko nije bio na Plitvicama, kao da ništa u životu nije napravio.... volim i obožavam Sarajevo, ali Plitvice su ljepota koju ako čovjek za života propusti, ništa nije vidio....

ali čujem da su cijene, pogotovo ko želi konak ili dva, deračina na Plitvicama?

Pa nije to ba Sarajevo da spavaš za 15 eura.... Ipak se mora (is)platiti....

Evo opet još malo iz Italije, ovog puta Gardaland... Pošto su autobusi raspodijeljeni po temama, evo nešto malo iz samog parka i besplatnih autobusa koji voze od hotela i same Peschiere del Garda...

Svaka čast Tomo slike su preperfektne super su kao i izleti a i autobusi s kojima ideš su super .  :D Ovo zadnje sa zmijama sam već vidio na Perla Tours nego Tomo oprosti ako te previše pitam nego jeli ti možda radiš kao turistički vodič ?  ;)

IV.dio...

Ulaz u dvorac Trakošćan koji je nastao  u 13. stoljeću kao manja utvrda za nadzor puta od Ptuja prema bednjanskoj dolini. Od 1584. pa sve do početka drugog svjetskog rata drži ga vlastelinska obitelj Drašković, a svoj današnji izgled dobio je u 19. stoljeću.  U sklopu njega danas djeluje muzej sa stalnim postavom.

Lovačka dvorana - s obzirom je među plemstvom omiljena zabava bio lov, a ne kao u današnje vrijeme facebook i slično, simobolički je unutar dvorca postavljena lovačka dvorana u istočnoj kuli dvorca i predstavlja lovačku tradiciju obitelji Drašković. Soba je ispunjena lovačkim trofejima i velikom bijelom peći koja je također ukrašena lovačkim motivima.

Ova vitrina sa posuđem nalazi se u blagavaonici. To je dio posuđa iz 18. i 19. stoljeća koji se uspio sačuvati, a većina toga je stradala tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata.

III dio sam razumio kao i vecina nas :D  A de nam ba malo pojasni bar IV dio.Gdje je to,ko je sjedio na onim stolicama i tako to.Same slike nam puno ne govore.
I  2 slike su umjesto u treci dio zalutale u peti.Gastro dio. ::)

Ma nema problema, kad pitate, a ako vas zanima, ako ima interesa, onda ja lako pojasnim... Inače ovako samo postavim slike jer vremenski ne stignem sve...

šta je bilo pa su Mađari glup i težak narod? ;D

Eh The_Dubster I ti puno pitas. U to da su glup I tezak narod je istina 100%

a ti si u puno slučajeva svakom loncu poklopac, pa samo da se piše... Pripazi malo...

Pitanje je na mjestu... jer i situacija je bila grozna... Naručeno je u čardi 17 obroka bez svinjetine, zbog toga što ne jedete svinjetinu... Oni su donijeli piletinu sa povrćem i pire krumpirom, ali prženo na slanini... mo'š mislit kakav sam imao show... ali ovi to ne mogu shvatiti... Jako je loše bilo organizirano jer je bilo preko 500 ljudi (15-ak buseva bilo u čardi tu večer).... Izgubio sam tu večer barem tjedan dana života....

iskusio sam i ja te probleme dok sam bio u Budimpešti... Morao sam se hranit u turskim restoranima i fast foodovima. Naći nešto od piletine ili govedine u marketu je jako teško... Svinjetinja je svagdje, ili kao meso ili kao slanina ili kao želatin u slatku xD

Jako loše je bilo organizirano, stvar je u tome što to ide preko naših leđa jer smo mi tamo, a ovi ne razumiju,  naši gosti (putnici) ne razumiju....  Šef sale je čupao kosu čim nas je svaki puta vidio...  a Zoltan koji je to organizirao, kad je prikupio pare, zbrisao...

kod nas je bila frka i za doručak. Organizator je napumenuo da doručak bude bez svinjetinje, ali su ovi ipak iznijeli, no mi smo skontali o kakvom se mesu radi, pa je vodič razgovarao sa upraviteljem i sljedeće jutro nije bilo belaja... Ali je činjenica da se mađarska kuhinja dosta oslanja na svinjetinju...

A i tebe zakačilo da radiš sa Bošnjama, a i mi smo ti jaaaaako teški i nerazumni i to počesto :D

Nije meni uopće ni sekunde bilo žao rada sa Bošnjama, kako ti kažeš, nego stvar je u tome što su pojedinci izigravali neke "velikane"... sve im je udovoljeno što je u programu, čak i van njega... Iste grupe su bile i iz Zagreba i Splita, i vjeruj mi , u odnosu na Tanju (ZG) i Pavla (ST) vodiče, ja sam još i najbolje prošao...   Meni je zapravo bila čast da predstavljam grupu iz BiH koja je u biti bila mješovita - imao sam u grupi i Bosance, Hrvate, Srbe i Crnogorce...  Ali nasmijali smo se putem, podružili, upoznali, pjevali  i stekli nova prijateljstva.... Što se mene tiče može sutra odmah ponovno bilo koja grupa iz BiH :)

Malo zatišja bilo...  Ali vraćamo se ponovno u akciju...
